Edit your own pages
With the Websites Made! Content Manager you can edit the content of your own pages:
- Go to www.yourwebsitename.co.uk/login and give the username and password that we set up for you.
- You will now see the File Manager: Click a page name on the list on the left
- You will then be taken to the Page Editor: it looks like this
- You use the editor just like a word processor: you can type new text, insert bulleted and numbered lists, make text bold or italic and add images, videos or tables. If you have used a word processor or used the formatting toolbar on your email system, it will all seem very familiar.
- When you save the page, a back up copy is automatically taken, so don't worry if you messed something up.
- The editor does not alter the fixed portions of each page: the header, logo, menus etc. You will not harm the structure of your website.
- Whilst you are logged in you can browse your website as normal, but there will be an extra toolbar at the top of each page:
You can use the Edit This Page button to edit any page in your website.
